Elisabeth Leontieff-Hirshon, born in French Polynesia is an Economics-International Relations major at La Sorbonne University and is of Polynesian-Russian origins. Elisabeth started her professional career in the hospitality business within the Accor group at the Hotel Sofitel Beverly Hills. Within her first year in the Front of the House, Elisabeth's inherent leadership qualities were quickly noticed and she was offered a managerial position in the Food & Beverage department (Restaurant & Room Service). Her last position was Director of Reservation Sales, responsible for yield management. In 1998, she assumed the role of President of Tahiti Communications Inc, an internet service company managing the travel website TAHITI.COM, a dominant force in the travel market to Tahiti and her Islands. In 2004, Elisabeth became a partner-developer with husband Charles. She is in charge of Sales & Marketing.Thanks to their diverse cultural heritage, Charles & Elisabeth are particularly mindful of the importance of indigenous traditions and are sensitive to the harmonious integration of any new development within its local regional context.
Elisabeth is the grand daughter of General M. Leontieff (under the last Czar Nicholas of Russia), sister to Alexandre Leontieff, former President of French Polynesia (1987-1991) and to Boris Leontieff, former Mayor of Arue, Tahiti and lost at sea in May of 2002.
